GirlPowerPC Statement of Company Ethics


This company is an extension of the two founders dreams being combined in to a single effort that melds two passions in to one product. As the founders of this company, we wish for it to never be something that we view as immoral in any way. So many companies and people chose to lay down their morals and operate in ways that are very questionable and often down right illegal. We will either succeed without ever letting go of the following company ethics or we will fail. We truly believe it is better to fail the right and moral way then succeed by selling even a single drop of our integrity.


We will never treat any future employee with less than the highest respect for both their time and effort. Far too many employees are overworked for far too little pay and we have been those employees far too often in our lives. We doubt we will have any employees for a long time but we will always pay each employee at a minimum a true living wage. A wage that they can raise and support a family on without having to get a second job or work an absurd amount of hours to barely scrape by. We wish to rise up and create a better life for ourselves but we could never stomach rising up by stepping on others.


No employee, manager, or executive’s total compensation (including salary, bonuses and any other form of company perk) shall ever exceed four times the lowest paid employees total compensation. Employees will be given a resonable amount of paid sick leave that as a policy may be taken without prior notice and no one may question the employee about the cause of why the employee is choosing to use it. Each employee shall be given personal paid time off that may be taken without explination so long as 2 weeks notice is given in advance.

No employee who is not a manager with at least 6 employees directly under them is permited to work on any of the following days, Martin Luther King Jr. day, February 13-15, Memorial Day, July4 and 5th, The day before Labor Day through the day after Labor Day, Veterans day, from Thanksgiving until the monday afterwords, and finally December 23rd through January first.


We may choose to reach out to outside artist to commission work from them on occasion. We shall never offer an artist any form of payment except truly adequate monetary compensation. Offering “Exposure” or “Experience” to an artist for their hard work is an affront to our morals and we will never take part in it.


Every computer we sell will be built with the right to repair and clear easy upgrade paths in mind. We want the computers we sell to be kept and displayed as the beautiful hardware that they are for a very long time.

Every computer we sell will be given extremely thorough real world testing that is performed by the actual technician who assembled the unit. We believe this is the least a company should do to ensure that they are shipping products in a truly working, updated and ready to use condition. We never want a single one of our customers to ever receive anything from us that is less then this.

Every electronic device we sell will automatically come included with all all of our customer support perks and our Three Year Worry Free Warranty


This company will never use any form of tax haven, dodge, avoid, misreport income, or in any other way attempt to pay a single cent less then the appropriate amount of taxes for the revenue we generate. If our employees must pay taxes on the wages they earn we can see no moral or reasonable argument that the company should do any different then its employees.


We will always provide a level of customer support and service that goes above and beyond through using our “Golden Rule” customer service standards and practices with each customer interaction.

Both of the owners of this company are friends of breast cancer survivors and have saw up close the damage that awful disease wrecks on lives and families. We believe as a company we have an obligation to do more then simply turn a profit. We have an obligation to be a force for good in this world. Therefore, 10% of the profit of each unit we sell shall be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.


These ethics standards may be expanded but never reduced.


Our company ethics standards will never be hollow words that are merely for show. Should a manager, employee, or contractor violate these standards they will be immediately terminated. These are absolute bright lines that the company will never tolerate being crossed.
